The only issue was it didn't start filling the screens, but it was easy to drag it across to to the correct position. I've just tried the XML on FS19 across my two monitors and it works fine. Or if you're on Nvidia hardware perhaps you could use the Surround feature to create a custom resolution (at least it looks like that's what it does - I've not tried it). The game is a blast to play in triples when correctly configured.According to Kermit there is a borderless windowed mode with FS22, so in theory you should be able to create a custom resolution in the XML file across all your monitors. Now it's easier, or should I say "less difficult"?^^''Īnyway, don't give up on triples with ETS2. That was before the new multimon feature. And we need an easier and less troublesome way to set it up. The guys at SCS just needs to realise that a lotta people playing ETS2 does use of triple screen setup, or even 4. I agree that setting up triples in iRacing is easier, but ETS2 is finally on the right path. Too much head movement or too much sensitivity, if you're using just one screen. Track IR with just one screen feels weird to me. Oh, so you have TrackIR too? I have the v5. I love this game and would rather be playing instead of trying to figure something out that is set up archaically. it is just not worth trying to experiment with things that should be in the graphic settings like Iracing. Thanks Cole for your assistance i guess for ETS2 ill go back to my track IR and keep triples for iracing. I think I need to give the guys a heads up about the new advanced multimon setup, unless someone wants to do it. BTW, I was the first guy at WSGF forums to support triple screen FOV mod for this game and it seems I'm still in the instruction page for ETS2 at there. So I think my help has no use anymore here. Also especially on the widescreen monitor you are loosing big part of the vertical field of view which causes the "face in windshield" feeling. The smaller field of view also affects sense of speed which appears smaller than whan you are expecting from the single-monitor play. With the multi-view mode, the angle covered by all monitors combined with the same settings would be something like 250 degress so it would require quite unusual positioning of all the monitors to look right. The physical mismatch is not problem in that mode. The value used by the game in single monitor mode is much bigger as it needs to show you the mirrors and dashboard. It can be changed using the r_multimon_fov_horizontal parameter and the correct value corresponds to the view angle which is covered by the monitor from your position. ![]() Originally posted by merlynn14:My problem in mode #2 is it feels like my face is plasterd to the windshield and even tho i am going speed limit it feels like i am crawling along. This is affected by the field of view. My problem in mode #2 is it feels like my face is plasterd to the windshield and even tho i am going speed limit it feels like i am crawling along. I personally use mode 4, due to having more control over each screen and being able to customize the setup using multimon command on-the-fly. You just have to tell me with more details about what are you trying to achieve that you couldn't just by using mulitmon mode 2 command. In your case, 3 screens with the same AR is much easier to achieve a good result. But that's because I have a customized setup with 2 side monitors with 16:9 AR and one center monitor with AR of 21:9. I had to mess with settings for hours until I got a satisfactory result. Why they dont do like Iracing is beyond me. Thanks but this is what i ahve been using but their descriptions of what each thing does is crap and doesnt explain anything. If you're still in trouble after reading it, post here and I'll try to help. Originally posted by coleroddy:here is everything you need to know.
